Sewing for Missions is a rewarding service project where dedicated volunteers create essential items like dresses and blankets. This ministry sends the completed items to those in need both locally and abroad. Join us as we use our skills to make a tangible difference in communities worldwide.

The Walk for Water is one of our most impactful service projects, organized in partnership with Healing Hands International (HHI). This annual event is dedicated to raising vital funds for HHI’s Clean Water program, which brings the life-saving gift of clean water to communities around the globe.

As the local host for this important initiative, the Mountain Island Church of Christ supports the drilling and repair of water wells. These efforts provide both physical relief and open doors for sharing the Gospel. For example, a single past event raised over $30,000, funding the drilling of three wells and supporting essential community training like drip irrigation and gardening classes. Join us as we walk to make a difference!

Our Disaster Relief efforts are a vital service project, allowing us to rapidly provide aid and comfort to communities following natural disasters. We actively partner with organizations like Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort (CCDRE) and Healing Hands International (HHI) to offer immediate assistance. Our support includes providing financial aid, coordinating emergency supply distribution, and assisting with long-term recovery efforts such as clean-up and rebuilding. Through this ministry, we strive to bring physical relief and the hope of the Gospel to those whose lives have been impacted by catastrophe.

The Magi Boxes project is a special service project that provides essential gifts and supplies to children in foreign mission fields. Our youth and volunteers participate in packing these boxes, which are sent to places like Honduras, transforming a simple box into a tangible expression of God’s love. We work together each year to reach a goal of filled boxes, helping to meet a need while sharing the Gospel with children and their families.
